Donate in memory of Sarah Kocak

On November 16, Sarah suffered a massive pulmonary embolism in her lungs that caused her heart to stop several times en route to the hospital. Unfortunately, this caused her brain to swell to the point that the damage was irreversible. With her family by her side, I took her off life support on the evening of November 21.

Immediate funds will go towards medical and final resting expenses. The remaining proceeds will go honor Sarah's adventurous spirit and causes close to her heart.

Warmly,
Angelique (Sarah's loving wife)

Sarah Lynne Kocak was Love, Light, and Beauty.

Sarah was an artist at her core, moved to create, order, and present beauty and luxury to all who came into her orbit. She was a gifted pilot, athlete, photographer, designer, party planner, flower arranger, and gardener who enjoyed witnessing others sharing what she loved. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, friend, devoted dog momma, partner, and wife.

She was a proud warrior princess who lived life with determination and passion. She was so perfectly human, moved by her endless need to live and experience all the deep flavors, sights, sounds, and journeys of life.

Sarah appreciated beauty in the crystals of frost in the morning sun and treasured the breathtaking views of the world that she was able to witness and share, from the elephants of Thailand to the sunrise at the Grand Canyon and the wonder of seeing Mt. Denali on a clear day.

Sarah was as delicate as she was fierce, sassy and refined, possessed of a glorious laugh that burst from her beautiful soul. Her empathy made her sensitive to her people’s pain and joys; she listened with compassion and offered comfort and encouragement. Her most precious gift was her willingness to give her time, and of herself, without question or reward. She was a golden light and a deep stormy blue sky.

She was young when she left us. Too young. It is a small yet essential comfort to know how richly she lived, how deeply she loved, and how much of the world she got to see, taste, and experience.

She lives now in those she loved. We will honor her love, light, and beauty in our hearts forever.
