Sarah Peck Car Accident Recovery

Hi, my name is David, on August 31st, my mother, Sarah Peck was in a fairly serious car accident while traveling to work as a traveling CNA. She flipped the vehicle numerous times after what is believed to be a malfunction causing the front right tire to come off unexpectedly. Fortunately, a passerby called police shortly after to report the accident, and emergency crews were able to rescue her from the scene before tragedy struck.

My mom sustained multiple injuries during said car accident. Including 12 broken ribs, which caused a punctured lung that required her wear a chest tube for about 10 days. Her lower arm bone was crushed and required surgery to repair, her upper arm is broken, her shoulder is broken, her neck is broken. And she had a subarachnoid brain bleed in which blood built up around the brain and inside the skull causing increasing pressure onto the brain. She is very lucky to be alive today. She was in the intensive care unit for about a week before being transferred to the orthopedic floor for almost another week.

We are asking for donations to help our family through this difficult time that would cover medical expenses, travel for upcoming appointments, the bills we will acquire over the next few months while she recovers, and basic necessities.

Since the vehicle that wrecked was our only running one, and it is now totaled, we would use some of the donations to repair our non functioning ones. She also lost her eyeglasses during the crash so some would go to cover a new pair of glasses for her and eye doctor appointments aswell.

She is going to be down and out for at least 8 weeks during recovery and is requiring alot of help in these upcoming weeks physically and financially and any little bit helps alot and adds up, We are extremely appreciative of any donations and to anyone who shares the message, word of mouth helps aswell, Thank you very much for helping during these troubling times.
