Sarah (Rodders) get home to Jersey to recover from a stroke

Hi it’s Sarah, most of you will know me as Rodders. I have recently had a stroke and am currently in Basildon Hospital. To aid my recovery they have said the best thing would be to go home to my Dad in Jersey where I can rest and strengthen but I am not allowed to fly so soon after my stroke. What this means is I will have to take the lengthy journey by boat and I will need someone to accompany me as I am unable or capable of travelling alone. This is going to be expensive as will ongoing treatment in Jersey be too as it’s not covered by the NHS.

It is never easy to ask for money and I do not expect anyone to give if they can’t I know how hard it is for everyone in this economic crisis. But if you can spare just a couple of pounds to help me get home and recover fully and looking more like my old self in the picture I would be of course be eternally grateful ❤️
