Let's help Britt Fossli in memory of Sarah Speight

Hi, my name is Dave Crawford and I am raising money in Sarah's memory for her mother Britt Fossli.
Sarah Speight passed away suddenly in mid March. She was a graduate student, and was considered a rising star, a diligent worker, and a very original thinker in the academic world. She was one month away from graduating from Ottawa University with a PhD, and had already been accepted for post-doctoral work at Carleton University.
She was a good friend and colleague to many, and a fierce advocate for the rights of the less fortunate in Canada.
Since Sarah's tragic and sudden passing, Britt has been faced with the unimaginable. She has had to perform countless complex tasks in the name of her daughter. It's enough that she has had to face this tragedy and endure the devastating loss. Sadly that's not all there is.
The end of life is expensive, and Britt has also had to deal with many costs. There have been travel costs, missed wages, legal, and funeral services. Just the travel alone was over $5000!
Many people have helped already, but this fundraiser is intended to give more people an opportunity to support and assist Britt at this very difficult time.
