Sarah's Fundraiser for the American Cancer Society
Tax deductible
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of American Cancer Society and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about American Cancer Society: The American Cancer Society attacks cancer from every angle: promoting healthy lifestyles, researching cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments, fighting for lifesaving policy changes, providing emotional support and the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer 24/7. Our staff and volunteers provide crucial information and services to cancer patients and families in communities throughout the country.
This is a cause that is very close to my heart because I have had too many people in my life had their lives affected by this disease. I'd like to think that by raising funds for this non-profit, we are saving lives, and keeping people from going through what no one should have to go through. Our goal this year is to reach $1,800 or more! At Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, we like to give money in multiples of eighteen. We do this because the word for eighteen, chai, also means life, so I thought it would be fitting that our goal would be a multiple of eighteen. This will represent giving life to all of the people who's lives we will touch with these donations.
