Sarah's Japan Study Abroad

I am raising money to go on a Japan trip for my J-term at Augustana College. I currently pay for all my expenses at college. While I do not pay tuition, I do pay room, board, and my bills. I am working as a waitress and as a part-time employee on my campus. I have never been out of the country because financially it has always been unrealistic. I desperately want to see the world, and this trip would be my first chance to experience another country. While in Japan we will visit historical towns and sites as well as major cities to gain an understanding of the sociological issue of decreases in population and their cultural and economic effects. This last academic year I received all A's and made the Dean's List while working and I will continue to work hard throughout my academic year both through my studies, my jobs, and hopefully through this amazing opportunity. I will appreciate any amount donated, every penny counts and I myself will be saving and contributing to the fund as well and will include updates as I get closer to the trip.
