Donate to Sarah Everhart's Leukemia Fundraiser

Sarah Everhart - a ballet professor at Point Park University was recently diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). She is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. In a recent Facebook post by Everhart, she stated:

"Hi Facebook friends and family. A week ago I was feeling fine, teaching ballet class. Today I’m in the hospital undergoing day 3 of chemo for AML- a type of leukemia. I had very mild, vague symptoms that didn’t raise any red flags for me. I happened to have my yearly physical and routine blood work scheduled and that’s how we caught this. We caught this very early, I’m young and otherwise healthy, and I’m at the Hillman cancer center which is one of the best in the country. While the next few months are going to be tough, I’m staying positive and determined to suck it up and fight. I’d appreciate positive thoughts and prayers!" ~Sarah Everhart
