Hi! I'm a friend of Sarah & her husband Tommie. They just moved here to Williamsburg, Va and with their friends living far away, I thought this page would be a vehicle for those distant to help out and for anyone out there with a charitable heart.
Last Spring after 13 years in Cozumel, Mexico Sarah and Tommie moved back to the USA. By June Sarah was diagnosed with Precancerous Uterine Cancer. By August she was having a full hysterectomy and they found a small patch of SEROUS Cancer attached to her girl parts.
Sarah is now undergoing 6 rounds of Chemo and 3 rounds of Radiation as a precaution to never have this again.
Since the treatments go into 2016 they have to pay two full deductables for this year and next! $6,300 x 2 = $12,600. Sarah can now only work part time during treatment.
Their costs do not include gas going back and forth to the hospital, over the counter drugs and aids. Winter is coming and there will be heating bills and warmer clothes. Moving from the tropics has left them with no winter wear and having to rebuild a household.
