Sarahs Battle Against Leukaemia

I’m not sure how to start this it’s very hard to put into words but here goes
My Mum , Me (Sarah’s youngest sister) & Sam (Sarah’s oldest sister) & Sarah’s nieces , nephews & brother in laws have decided to do this fund raising to help out Sarah while fighting for her life in hospital diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia only 6 weeks ago & has been in hospital ever since .
Sarah has a partner Mark & 3 beautiful girls Chloe 15, Lois 10 & Hollie 5
It goes without saying this has absolutely broken our hearts to watch our beautiful sister/daughter go through this & feel alone fighting this due to COVID 19 , Sarah is hard working & lives for her partner & children all she does is work all day & come home , she’s very organised & runs the show at home so you can imagine the impact it’s had on her family home , she’s very Mumsy so absolute no words could make these days & especially Christmas Day any better for the girls obviously dad (mark) does the very best he can & the girls & him had the smiles but you can see the heartbreak the are really feeling :(
Mark Sarah’s partner is self employed newly started his own Business to provide for his family obviously that has taken a back sit which will cause income to reduce dramatically he nor Sarah have ever asked for anything of anyone the both very hard working but all that has been forced to stop.
My mum me & sister would love to give a little back with a bit of help to Sarah & mark whether that be help towards bills or just a day out with the girls , Sarah & mark has been talking with the 3 girls about a therapy dog to help bring a little bit of happiness back in to their family home a new puppy isn’t going to take the leukaemia nor as the saying goes is not just for Christmas but I feel a least when they are with a new puppy/dog they can forgot even if it’s for a few minutes , we feel they deserve a little bit of happiness & they’ve always loved animals , Sarah’s even named the puppy must be a girl as she’s going to be called lady she has dreams about a white puppy all the time & ‘Lady’ helps her forget this nightmare, they’ve been talking about it this last month or so but it’s always end up with the same answer when we’ve saved a little bit more so anything at all will be a massive help & so much appreciated.
sarah has a long fight ahead she’s just started to lose her hair which is very daunting for her & upsetting as in her words “I know I’ve got leukaemia in me but now I can start to see it “ which had me heartbroken , the look in her face while saying those words il never forget !!
we as a family are doing our very best to help raise the funds in different ways & will continue to do so , thank you for reading whom ever it maybe send a little pray for Sarah xxxx
