Sara Rosental's new computer fund!

My old friend, Sara Rosenthal, has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I had not seen her in quite some time until she walked into the Apple Store where I work. I could tell she wasn’t well, and after making some small talk she shared with me that she was looking for a computer. Her current computer, a hand-me-down, was on its last leg. Sara shared that she needed a light weight computer to take to and from the hospital for her chemo treatments. That is when I learned she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Here I was retuning from family leave, full of life and joy, and she was dealing with her own mortality.

Sara has stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She is a mom, a sister, a daughter, a gardner, a teacher, a ‘Deadhead’, and a friend. And just like myself, has no history of breast cancer in her family. Sara had a breast exam just eight months prior to her diagnosis. As you can see, this was a complete and unexpected shock for Sara, and she is still dealing with her reality of this diagnosis.

Please help me raise money to buy Sara a new computer. I know how much this gift would mean to her. Sara deserves to be reminded she is not in this alone. Providing her with the gift of technology she can easily connect with her friends, family & community around her - ultimately strengthening her mentality, hope, and health.
