Sara Thomas Cancer Fund

With 15 years under her belt with Cal Fire Riverside, Firefighters Sara Thomas is now battling a personal fight against cancer – for herself and her family.Diagnosed with cancer after the discovery of a tumor, the disease has now spread to her lungs and liver. The 41-year-old firefighter has opted to treat her cancer with alternative medicines that are not currently covered by insurance. Sara has twin 6 ½-year-old girls, Mira and Olivia, who will be rooting for their mom and their collective future.

The Sara Thomas Fund will cover the costs of the alternative medication and time Sara spends away from home to receive the treatment.
