Sarenity's Health Crisis: A Mother's Plea

My name is Jasmine, and I am creating this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for my daughter’s second opinion appointment at Boston Children’s Hospital. We are seeking answers and relief regarding her health issues. My daughter, Sarenity, has been diagnosed with Growth Restriction since before birth, which led to her premature delivery. She also faces challenges such as cerebral palsy, Failure to Thrive, microcephaly, seizures, and protein-calorie malnutrition, as her body struggles to absorb nutrients. Unfortunately, the medical professionals in Rhode Island have been unhelpful; despite my suggestion for a feeding tube to provide her with necessary nutrients, they refused to consider it until she became malnourished. Recently, her weight dropped significantly from 23.2 pounds to 21.8 pounds in just one week, yet instead of addressing her nutritional needs, the doctors focused on monitoring my feeding practices. This situation has compelled me to seek a second opinion from a facility that will prioritize my child's well-being before it is too late.
