Sasha and Dominic Thrasher's Mission Trip

Sasha and Dominic will be going on their first Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic with The Village Mountain Mission Project this summer.  They are heading out with other youth and adults from Salem Mennonite Church.  Their team will be dealing mainly with construction, helping to build new homes for those in need.  The construction deals with digging and pouring the footers, mixing the cement, laying blocks, sawing and hammering the wood, and nailing on the zinc roofs (taken directly from The Village Mountain Mission Project's pamplet).   The Mission Trip starts July 21st and runs to the 28th.  They both are excited and a little hesitant on this trip but look forward to seeing what they can do to help other people out.
