Help Danielle and her family

As many of you may know TG's WSNA Chair was Fired on Monday. Some of you may not know Danielle, lets fill you in. Danielle O'Toole was your most fierce advocate for patients, nurses, and anyone that needed an ally when they were being bullied. Danielle was your voice at TG! If you were in trouble Danielle gave you advice. If your local union representative didn't have the answer Danielle did. If there was a staffing concern, Danielle was getting to the bottom of it. If there was a patient safety concern Danielle was addressing it. If you needed a shoulder to cry on, needed support, needed to vent, needed representation.....You guessed it, Danielle was your person.

Well, Danielle and her family need your help. Monday afternoon Danielle's employer fired her for "Cause." Without going into details, it is well know and documented that Danielle's employer has tried to remove her before. Most likely because Danielle was the voice of her fellow nurses and demanded accountability of the organization that she worked for. Now, Danielle and her family need your help. She is currently without work as the holidays approach, they have a mortgage, and now have to pay for health insurance. With the organization filing her termination as "for cause," it will be hard to gain unemployment support with the state. If you have ever thought about donating to help someone out, donating at this time would be a wonderful way of showing support, thankfulness and love to Danielle and her family.
