Hello! We are Sixth Circle Pictures, a passionate group of students in association with British Columbia Institute of Technology.

We are asking for your help in creating a short film where we can apply all the experience we've garnered during our time here as students to our final project:

SATAN ON SET

Synopsis

On a horror set, anything can be normal-- blood splattered across the floor, prop bodies sprawled out in different positions, and actors’ screams contained within soundproof walls. But when tensions rise and unease settles in, you’d be surprised what people can do in the darkness.

Satan on Set is a short film that explores a peculiar horror production. Led by a perfectionist director, the crew and talent strive for harmony to achieve the perfect shot. But when the house lights go off, the real terror begins, plunging the set into chaos.

Inspiration

We are drawing inspiration from The Shining, The Lighthouse, Late Night with the Devil, and Longlegs. This film will also contain themes related to the film industry, exploitation, and power dynamics.

How You Can Help

As full-time students and a handful of wonderful volunteers with determination to create a high-quality production, we aim to raise for an estimated budget around $5,000. All donations will be put towards the following:

Talent, Hair and Makeup, Special Effects, Costumes, Props, Composers
Equipment, Rental and Insurance
Craft Services, Locations;
And many more expenses that would go towards making the film as best as possible and supporting artists.

This film will be screened on March 21, 2025 with BCIT, with additional plans for submitting it to eligible film festivals.

Any amount would be greatly appreciated, and we thank you for your time and interest in this project. All donors will be acknowledged in our ending credits.
