Hermanos Gutierrez

On the morning of November 12, 2022, the Gutierrez Family woke up to the devastating news that two of our family members in Mexico were killed in an inhumane and undeserving way. Saul and Soledad were the only two, out of 10 siblings, that lived in Mexico and physically took care of our grandpa. Due to immigrational barriers, only two of my aunts were able to leave the country while the rest stayed with the burden of not being able to see and say goodbye, as many of my aunts and uncles have nearly over twenty years without physically seeing their brother and sister who have passed away.

With a heavy heart, on behalf of my family and as a human services professional who believes in the power of community, I am here today reaching out for extra financial support. Your donations will be used to help cover the rest of our family's funeral expenses among other costs. Thank you in advance

En la mañana del 12 de noviembre de 2022, la Familia Gutiérrez se despertó con la devastadora noticia de que dos miembros de nuestra familia en México fueron asesinados de manera inhumana e indigna. Saúl y Soledad eran los únicos dos, de 10 hermanos, que vivían en México y cuidaban físicamente a nuestro abuelo. Debido a las barreras migratorias, solo dos de mis tías pudieron salir del país mientras que el resto se quedó con la carga de no poder ver y despedirse, ya que muchos de mis tíos tienen casi más de veinte años sin ver físicamente a su hermano y hermana que han fallecido.

Con gran pesar, en nombre de mi familia y como profesional de servicios humanos que cree en el poder de la comunidad, hoy estoy aquí solicitando apoyo financiero adicional.
