We want to support the family during this very difficult and traumatic time and try to ease the burden while they are rebuilding their home and lives. We are hoping that our community can come together and support.

The Saunders family hold a special place in the hearts of every person they meet simply because the joy and love that radiates from them. Recelyn is an amazing friend, mother, colleague and wife who is the most generous, kind, loving, and supportive person we know. Darryl is a former Australian Veteran who is a hard-working, compassionate father. The fire completely destroyed all 3 children's bedrooms and belongings leaving them with nothing apart from the clothes on their backs. This devastating event has already caused immense emotional distress to the family and will undoubtedly create future financial hardships.
