Sauver de la mort ma famille à Gaza

Palestinien de Gaza, je vis dans la région de Rennes avec ma femme, également Palestinienne de Gaza, et nos trois enfants.

Je fais appel à vous pour m’aider à sortir de l’enfer ma famille qui est à Gaza sous les bombes depuis plus de 165 jours et 165 nuits, et qui est privée de tout en raison du siège total du territoire et du manque d’aide humanitaire.

Jusque début janvier, mon père, ma mère, ma jeune sœur Nada (18 ans) et trois de mes frères, Bilal (17 ans), Mohammed (24 ans) et Dirar (32 ans) vivaient tous dans notre maison familiale à Khan-Younis, ainsi qu’un autre de mes frères, Haitham, sa femme Wissam, et leurs trois enfants. Ils ont tous dû la quitter après qu’elle ait été criblée de balles et en partie détruite par les tirs d’un char qui était à proximité.

Ils survivent depuis sous une tente à Rafah, souffrant du manque d’eau, de nourriture, de médicaments, d’électricité, de gaz, d’hygiène, de tout ! Dans ces conditions inhumaines, toute la famille est atteinte de maux de ventre aigus et de diarrhées.

Mon frère Haitham a été blessé par une balle qui lui a traversé l’abdomen. Il a pu être soigné mais reste très affaibli. Je suis dans l’angoisse permanente de voir un autre membre de ma famille être blessé, ou pire, être tué par un bombardement (comme cela a été le cas pour un des jeunes frères de ma femme), par un tir, ou par la famine. Aucune perspective d’apaisement se dessine.

Mes parents, ma sœur, mes frères ma belle-sœur et mes neveux doivent d’urgence se mettre en sécurité en quittant la Bande de Gaza pour aller en Egypte. Mais le montant demandé par les autorités égyptiennes pour traverser le poste frontière de Rafah est très élevé (5 000$ minimum par adulte) et une fois en Egypte ma famille devra faire face à des dépenses pour se loger, se nourrir, se soigner. Aussi, la somme totale à réunir est très élevée.

Ma famille a tout perdu et n’a aucune ressource. N’ayant pas de mon côté l’argent nécessaire, je n’ai pas d’autre choix que de lancer cette collecte.

I am a Palestinian from Gaza, living in the Rennes region with my wife, also a Palestinian from Gaza, and our three children.

I'm appealing to you to help me save my family, who live in Gaza and have been under bombardment in Gaza for over 165 days and 165 nights, deprived of everything due to the total siege of the territory and the lack of humanitarian aid.

Until the beginning of January, my father, mother, my younger sister Nada (18) and three of my brothers, Bilal (17), Mohammed (24) and Dirar (32) all lived in our family home in Khan-Younis, along with another of my brothers, Haitham, his wife Wissam, and their three children. They had to leave it after it was riddled with bullets and partly destroyed by gunfire from a nearby tank.

Since then, they have been surviving in a tent in Rafah, suffering from a lack of water, food, medicine, electricity, gas, hygiene - everything! In these inhuman conditions, the whole family suffers from acute stomachaches and diarrhea.

My brother, Haitham was wounded by a bullet that pierced his abdomen. He was treated but remains very weak. I am in constant fear of seeing another member of my family injured, or worse, killed by a bombardment (as was the case for one of my wife's younger brothers), by gunfire, or by starvation. There is no prospect of appeasement.

My parents, sister my brother, my sister-in-law, and my nephews urgently need to get to safety by leaving the Gaza Strip for Egypt. But the amount required by the Egyptian authorities to cross the Rafah border is very high ($5,000 minimum per adult), and once in Egypt my family will have to face expenses for accommodation, food, and medical care. So, the total sum to be raised is very high.

My family has lost everything and has no resources. As I don't have the necessary funds of my own, I have no choice but to launch this fund-raising campaign.
