Sav's Top Surgery Fund

Hi everyone! My name is Sav Robinson and I am a 24-year-old transgender person living in Nashville. My pronouns are he/him or they/them and I'm starting this gofundme to raise money for a gender affirmative surgery I've been wanting for quite some time-- top surgery! 

I've been saving up for this procedure on my own for 4 years. During this time, I've worked a number of minimum wage jobs while going to school full-time. I've faced a lot of financial insecurity these past 2 years especially, not only because of the pandemic, but also moving states and lack of job security. I've been putting as much of my minimal expendable income towards saving for the procedure. However, this surgery is becoming increasingly more urgent for my mental health and wellness, so my ultimate goal in making this page is to lean on the support of my community-- whether that means donating when you're able or sharing on your platforms, I'd be deeply deeply grateful :') 


COST BREAKDOWN 

I've already had a consultation with the surgeon who I think best fits my personal ethics and aesthetics, which is Dr. Kenneth Wolf in my home state of Michigan. 

The total estimate of the procedure is $6,400. I still owe a little more than half of this cost. The rest of my goal number is for transportation, medication, and supplies after the fact. I will not be able to work for about 2-4 weeks after the surgery-- I'm hoping to save enough money for that on my own, but truly anything helps!!
