SAVANNAH ARTERBERRY’S CANCER FIGHT

Donation protected
My name is Sandy Parker, a family friend of the Arterberry family.
I’ve had the honor of watching Tiera and Derek’s two beautiful little girls, Savannah and Sammi for many years now.
Savannah is their oldest, who turned six in January. If you know Savannah you know her wit, charm, and she’s got a whole lot of her mama’s spunk. You also know you can’t pull a fast one on her, she’s way too clever and her memory is spot on! She loves to pick flowers and hand deliver with a morning hug.
(something she did every morning at my house ever since she was little)
She’s absolutely perfect in every possible way and that is why so many of us love and adore her.
Over the past several months, Savannah has been struggling with not feeling well. Once they thought they had the problems pin pointed after emergency room visits and many appointments with doctors, we all thought Savannah was on her way back to feeling better and the worst had past.
Very recently though, they had to return to the ER and it’s with overwhelming sadness I must tell you that Savannah has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Neuroblastoma.
She has a team of wonderful specialists who are devoted to getting her better. She has already begun chemotherapy and her bravery going into it did not surprise any of us because that is just Savannah. She’s a warrior!!
She’s leaves people in awe.
Chemotherapy, surgery and then radiation treatments will continue for the next year and a half. There will be many hospitals stays ahead for her, none of it her choice. She is surrounded by family and all of their love and support but she is six years old who is in kindergarten and she just wants to go home to be with her little sister, her puppy Stella and to resume her happy little life that her parents have given her. The immediate goal is for her return home as soon as the first 5 days of chemo are completed and her doctors know she’s feeling well enough.
Long term FACT is she’ll complete this long journey, close this chapter, and she will be a beacon of hope for others and an inspiration to us all. She will be that extraordinary human being that will go on to help others for a lifetime.
She is our miracle!
Yesterday, today, and tomorrow!
Tiera and Derek are forced to find a “new normal” not only for themselves but for their daughters. If Tiera is able to return to her job it will be limited. Her only focus to getting her baby girl better and finding that balance for her 2 year old that she will not let be lost in this.
For the next year and a half Tiera and Derek’s sole focus should be Savannah and Sammi ONLY. Finances should not be a burden for them as they were forced into this nightmare.
They are phenomenal parents that we all admire. They are humble people who only want the very best for everyone. They’re raising their girls to be compassionate and to see the good in all people and instilling in their daughters that giving will always outweigh receiving.
There are countless friends and family who are desperate to help in any way they can.
I asked you please donate so Tiera and Derek have the financial support needed over the next year so they are able to pay the monthly bills without worry or stress. Please repost so this may reach as many people as possible. If you work for or know of any businesses that would contribute to this fund, I implore you to do so. No child should ever have to face what Savannah is now living.
No parent should never feel the despair or the paralyzing fear that Tiera and Derek feel when it comes to fighting for their child’s life.
If you know this beautiful family THIS is how you can help.
If you haven’t had the honor of meeting them please help by touching their lives with your donation. Any help is greatly appreciated.
This wonderful family needs all prays, support and love we can give them. Please add Savannah and her family to your pray lists. Please ask that your church prays for her.
My hope is that everyone who reads this shares it so it will reach as many people as possible so this wonderful family receives all the help they need.
We sincerely thank you in advance for any help you can give.
It is greatly appreciated.
