My beautiful baby cousin Savannah, a 19 year old vibrant young lady, was in a car accident on 1/29/23. She suffered fractures from her C6 to T4 vertebrae, which C6 and C7 compressed the spinal cord causing incomplete paralysis. On the 29th, she had an emergency surgery to repair the damage to the spinal cord and reduce as much pressure as possible. After surgery, there was increased sensation, but no movement in her legs. On 1/31, she had a second surgery to build up the structural support for the spine in an effort to further relieve pressure on the nerves. We continue to be hopeful throughout this process and pray for God's blessings for her recovery. We will continue to post updates here and ask for everybody's continued thoughts and prayers for Savannah.
We appreciate your prayers, support, and words of hope and encouragement.
If anyone is willing to help in anyway shape or form it will be more than helpful. Anything is a blessing and more than appreciated!
