Savannah's Battle with Leukemia
Donation protected
My dear friend Savannah planned to go in for surgery for a broken ankle on Thursday morning, and instead, she received the worst news anyone could hear. Savannah was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on Friday, April 1st, at just 26 years old.
Those of you who know Savannah know she is a loving, happy-go-lucky, and unbelievably strong young woman who always puts her friends and family before herself.
Savannah will start intense chemotherapy to remove the cancer and be in the hospital for quite some time. The chemotherapy will be extremely taxing on her body, mentally and physically. Because of this, she will not be able to work and likely not be able to return for months.
Her parents recently moved to Ocean City, Maryland and will be staying in Baltimore while she fights her battle. As you know, expenses add up, and not all of her medical expenses will be covered, and with the everyday necessities of life, money becomes tighter.
Savannah is a loving, loyal and selfless human being who is always there to give love to anyone who needs it. I feel now she needs that love and support more than ever during a time of many unknowns for her and her family.
Anything you can donate will be sincerely appreciated. All of the money donated will be going directly to medical and personal expenses for Savannah and her family during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your consideration. Please keep sending love and prayers her way!
