Savannah’s Trip to Japan (Summer 2024)

Hi. My name is Savannah Lang. I am a senior at Shaler High School. As part of my Japanese class, I’ve been given an exciting opportunity to travel to Japan in June 2024 with some of my classmates and my teacher. We will be traveling to different cities in Japan, including Tokyo and Kyoto. We’ll have the chance to stay with Japanese families which will allow us to truly experience Japanese culture. This trip will allow me to use all the knowledge I’ve learned in my class in real-life situations in a foreign country. How cool is that?

Since my school is not offering fundraising for this trip, I’m starting this GoFundMe to help raise the funds to make this dream trip a reality for me. Due to generous donations from some of my family, I’ve already been able to cover part of the trip. Any donations I receive will go directly to pay for my flight, food, and any traveling expenses.
