Savannah Bresee's Medical Fund

My name is Raquel, and I'm writing this on behalf of my sister, Savannah Bresee. I have known savannah since we became step sisters at age 1.5, I can honestly say that I have never known a better best friend than her, and will never have a relationship that is as close as ours was during our childhood, but more on this later.
She is a current student at University of Hawaii, at Manoa with a major in marketing, she was due to graduate this December, but unfortunately this past tuesday (09/06/2016) she was a passanger in a collison with a dump truck, Savannah, thankfully, was wearing her seatbelt and was recovered alive by first responders. But, this leaves our family with a sudden need for financial support. Savannah is currently being treated at a hospital in Hawaii for 8 broken ribs, which are lacerating her liver, and puncturing her lungs causing blood loss. The amazing medical staff had to remove parts of her colon and small intestine due to trauma, she is also suffering from a fractured lower back, and a severed artery. She is still considered to be in critical condition, but we pray that she will heal with time, surgery, and lots of physical therapy/ rehab. Our family is located in California (Bay Area) which means that while she is in recovery in Hawaii her father (John) will need to stay on the island. All of the money donated to Savannah 's cause will go toward medical costs, and to keep her father with her while she recovers.
Savannah is only one month older than me, but I look up to her in a way that she will never understand- only the way that a younger sister looks up to an older. Savannah has always been there for me (especially during those angsty middle school years) so I would like to be there for her now. She is, and always will be one of the strongest, smartest, and most beautiful people that I know. I am thankful that her life has been spared, and I look forward to a future where she is able to graduate, and start the life she has always dreamed of. Please share this story with your family and friends, anything helps, including a share on facebook or other social media outlets. Thank you for your time and consideration, or donation, I cannot thank you enough.
