Save 46 Cows, Bulls, Calves from slaughter

We bought a farm in 2021, in Central Texas. A Cattle Ranch. Primarily to use the 6 very large metal barns there for various projects. The seller we bought the farm from had a herd of about 45 cows, calves & bulls. He rented the farm from us for a year, to continue keeping the cows there. When his lease ended on 31st March this year, he said he is going to sell the cows & asked if we were interested in buying.

This choice put us in a difficult predicament. If we don’t buy, the cows & their calves get sent to the slaughter. But if we decide to buy, we have to come up with 48k. Equipment & supplies would be even more.

We decided to give saving their lives a shot & attempt a fundraiser. If we succeed, the herd will live on in peace and safety at the farm. We will also start a non-profit (501c3) to set up a sanctuary at the farm.
