Why is Cityof Sanford Foreclosuring on last Blk own property
Donation protected
I'd like to share a concerning situation regarding 503 Sanford Avenue, which has been in our family since 1958. We've maintained ownership for over 65 years without issue, Suddenly, within a two-year period, we're facing foreclosure ? due to allegedly unpaid fines. This raises suspicions, as it echoes historical tactics employed in the 19th, and 20th centuries to seize property from African American owners. Why would the city of Sanford foreclosed on the last black owned commercial property located downtown Sanford.? On December 12th 2022 Anthony Raimondo who works for the city of Sanford in there code enforcement unit stood up in the commission meeting and made several untrue statements. Resulting in Commissioners voted to foreclosed on our property. No sworn testimony nobody was under oath how can this be . Also, Why 4 Seminole County Judges recuse themselves from this foreclosure case? Over the last 20 months this has been a fight and a struggle for our family. Our attorney reply to their foreclosure stating, we never received proper notice. Why did we receive dozens of notice in April 2024? Why is this practice legal ? Where is our due process? Why was this a regular practice with black owned commercial property in the 80s and '90s in Sanford?
Our family needs your time more than your funds to help us in our pursuit of Justice. If there's corruptness going on in our city it must end!
