5$ will save a family and part of Historical Maine
Donation protected
Please consider donating 5$ and sharing this post to help us save this beautiful Victorian home built in 1832. Originally purchased in 1985 by my parents who later on in life fell upon hard times, house fire, major health issues, work loss and more. Despite this, they always made this house a home until they were unable to manage it into retirement. Luckily hope came in the form of a great friend, she had fallen in love with this beautiful architecture and wanted to save it! She busted her butt getting all of the requirements in order to buy the home through a short sale. Long story short after over a year of blood, sweat and tears she lost the property to a paperwork technicality and the mortgage company took the option for the sale off the table and decided to move forward with a foreclosure. This is where I come in. I am a recently single mom brought back to my childhood home that I have a calling to save. I brought my three children with me who will be calling this their home when they’re with me, I need help making this home a safe and secure place for them. With the doom of the foreclosure and no hope of getting traditional financing, this is our only chance. All I ask is that you consider donating, no amount is too small, the property is appraised less than it is worth as well as needs a roof which means there is not a bank in the world that dare help. It is our dream to restore this home and bring it back to life! I teach here in this community and want to call it home forever. Two single moms, 4 kids and several pets need your help to save their home and keep a safe roof over their heads! Thank you for any amount you're able to spare or at the very least please pass along our story and share! It only will take 55,000 people to donate $5 and 4 children's futures are secured!
