Save a Store; Make an Impact
Donation protected
Hi everyone, several months ago I stumbled upon the most adorable thrift store. Both new and gently loved, unique items. Upon meeting the owner Linda, we had amazing conversation about her drive to succeed while also helping people with Cystic Fibrosis.
Linda donates a portion of proceeds from every single purchase the the CF foundation, and 100% of proceeds from donated items to the same cause.
Linda had a dream to make this work, she used every cent of savings and maxxed out her credit cards to fulfill her dream.
While her personal mission is for a cure for CF, because of her 3 year old grandson , she's no stranger to helping our community. She would give to anyone in need, given countless items away to those in need and fully furnished 4 people's homes for the cost of goods, while decorating for free, and has yet to be paid for 2.
You may walk past the store and see free items; a regular "purge" to help those who may need something.
There are 2 small shops in the shopping center, one is Linda's Downtown Thrift, another is a nonprofit art studio which also has great community impact for emerging artists. The children who attend art class love to go shop at Miss Linda's store and sad to see it shut down.
If you're in the area, stop in before she's forced to close! If you can help reach the goal to keep it open, she has great ideas for the future, some adorable items to sell and a huge heart to give back.
Should the goal for keeping the store open not be met, all go fundme donations will be redirected to the CF foundation.
Let's try to show Linda the same love she shows the community!
Thank you.
