RESCUE THE AFRICAN GREY PARROTS

We are raising funds for our African Grey Parrots sanctuary.
The African Grey Parrot is fighting for survival. The international pet trade is driving this amazing bird towards extinction, BUT THERE IS HOPE!
Our Project is the Protection of Parrots in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Our mission is to stop the illegal capture and trade of Congolese Parrots. At the project's Parrot Conservation Center, we rehabilitate and return to the wild parrots confiscated from poachers by Congo authorities. The parrot trade is brutal and deadly with over 75 percent mortality rate for captured parrots. Two out of every three birds in the trade chain die of starvation, disease, abuse, dehydration, and neglect.
We are raising funds to enlarge our sanctuary to save more parrots. Since we initiated the project 2 years ago, we have received over 400 birds and successfully returned over 150 to the wild. Knowledge of the project’s success is spreading and we are receiving more birds than ever!
Each bird we rescue is damaged and sickly from the horrific treatment they receive. Our sanctuary provides veterinary care, food, and support to nurture each bird back to health before returning them to the wild.
Your funds will go towards helping us build 5 more flight cages and support our dedicated team of caretakers. These incredible birds deserve dignity and freedom and We are MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
Your every dollar helps us to take on new challenges and reach new goals! Celebrate with us the success your donation makes possible in this movement to secure the future of this iconic bird! Visit our website and blog.
Thank you for your help and support. We are deeply grateful.
