Enough! Please donate to Airmont Trustee Migdalia Pesante's legal defense fund to help her defend herself against a frivilous lawsuit designed to intimidate her!
A grandmother living on a fixed income, Migdalia was recruited to run for Airmont Trustee by the Committee to Elect Bubel, Downey & Pesante. Since winning the election, Migdalia has refused to be anyone's lap-dog, voting independently on critical village matters. She has stood tall in the face of intimidation, remaining true to the best interests of Airmont as a whole. Seeing that she will not bow to pressure, the Committee has turned to suing her in retaliation.
Migdalia is tougher and more resilient than they give her credit for, but she lives on a fixed income. This lawsuit is completely unfair and unecessary. Please make a small contribution towards hiring an attorney who will ask that the suit be dismissed, so she can focus on remaining objective on Airmont matters.
