Save Alabama Dogs: Support Creating Hope for Paws

Hello everyone, I am starting this fundraiser to rescue shelter dogs from kill shelters in Alabama waiting for transport. Creating Hope for Paws is a registered rescue with a boarding facility that helps save lives by housing dogs awaiting rescue transports and homes up north. They act as an intermediary in the rescue process in Northern Alabama by pulling and holding dogs for northern rescues.

Most municipality shelters in Alabama are kill shelters that cannot keep the dogs while they wait for transport, even if they are tagged for rescue because space is a commodity. Most municipal shelters can only hold rescue-tagged dogs at the shelter for a week for transport. It takes two to four weeks to arrange transport, and the city shelters are open intake and cannot allow the animals to stay while waiting for transport. This fundraiser aims to help Creating Hope for Paws provide food, shelter, and enrichment toys for the dogs saved by Northern rescues while they await transport. Northern rescues can not cover the boarding cost because many cover the transport, help find forever homes, and save Alabama dogs. Creating Hope for Paws rescue only needs $20 per day for each dog waiting for transport to feed, house, and treat them like royalty.
