Save Amina's Life

Hi, my name is Bilal and I am fundraising for my cousin's daughter in Pakistan. following is the message from her father Rehan who is trying his every means to save his daughter.

My 9-year-old daughter Amina is waiting for the day she can walk on her own feet. At the age of 2, she was diagnosed as a patient of “Dushane Muscular Dystrophy” (DMD) and it was a sudden shock and trauma for us as parents when doctors told us she would never be able to walk and die near the age of 10. Since then she can see her legs hanging with her body but of no use.

Doctors told us there is no treatment for this disease in the world but to say her “Goodbye” one day. As parents we kept on finding if we could see some hope in any part of the world and after 9 years of long wait we heard the news that a hospital Sarepta Therapeutics in the USA has come up with some treatment approved by FDA but it seems like her hardships are not yet over as she cannot afford such an expensive treatment to save her life when at the age of 9 she completely understands what she is going through.

We need to raise funds for her and it is a humble request to everyone to pool in as much as you can to achieve the goal of saving the life of Amina and to make her stand on her own feet.
