Save Anna Hurst’s Life

Hi, my name is Renee and I’m raising funds for my close friend and colleague of 18 years, Anna Hurst.

Anna Hurst, loving wife to Dan, much loved friend and long term colleague to many, received very unexpected, devastating news a few weeks ago when she was diagnosed with a very aggressive and rare form of bowel cancer which has spread to her liver and is Stage 4. Anna’s oncologist has given her a timeframe and so urgent, immediate intervention is critical to extending her life.

We are buckled in to support Anna fight this disease and although scared of the unknown, Anna is being extremely positive in tackling this so that she can return to enjoying her active, healthy lifestyle, friendships and work.

Treatment to fight this aggressive cancer begins with chemotherapy this week, where she will be treated at the hospital and at home.

With an uphill journey ahead of Anna, Dan and loved ones, we hope the support from this page can provide a glimmer of positivity in this very tough time. Anna and Dan’s generosity knows no bounds, and although they were reluctant to create this page, I assured them that people want to help and a house full of gifted flowers cannot help ease the financial burden that life saving treatments, trials and therapies will cost, especially while time is critical.

Any donations no matter how big or small, will be used for whatever is needed over the course of Anna’s treatment and to assist with Dan being by her side.

Anna’s only request is for any donations left over, to be donated to a Cancer Charity, to continue helping others faced with the same challenges.
