Save Any Dog'il Do Rescue
Donation protected
Due to a few difficult months at ADDR, it is with a heavy heart that we have to share the news that the rescue is in very serious danger of closing.
As a small completely volunteer run rescue, we rely entirely on donations and fundraising and unfortunately, over the last 6 months, our expenses have massively exceeded the money both raised and donated.
This has been caused by unusually large and unforeseen vet expenses for a few of our special dogs. As followers of the rescue and our gorgeous dogs, you will have seen the stories of Khal and Trevor. Both these beautiful boys required special, and expensive, procedures to get them to the picture of health they are now. Money well spent I’m sure you’ll all agree - but it has taken its toll on our limited funds.
Also, for a few months we have consistently had around 10 dogs in kennels. As we don’t have our own premises or rehoming centre, our kennel expenses can be very high - especially if we cannot find suitable foster (or forever) homes for extended periods of time.
To give you a fuller picture of the last 6 months, our average outgoings have been £2198 - compared with an average amount coming in of £1135.
Thankfully a few dogs have secured foster and forever homes this month, so our outgoings should go back to a more manageable level - but the last 6 months have really hit the rescue hard.
And now comes the plea!! We really need your help. Many of you already support us through either your time volunteering, continued involvement of our fundraising or regular donations - and we really cannot thank you enough.
However - to get us through this difficult period, it would be great if ALL our supporters and followers could get on board
