Hey everyone,
My name is A, a 23 year old queer person living in Nigeria. I’m raising money to get out of an emotionally (and sometimes physically) abusive living situation. I’m currently still attending school but due to the pandemic, I’ve been unable to graduate, and thus I’ve spent more time than necessary with my family. This has taken a huge toll on my mental health which has led to a series of emotional breakdowns.
I decided to leave home as soon as possible but I have no means to support myself and nowhere to go, which is why I'm appealing to you to contribute to this fundraiser so that I can rent an apartment, feed myself and handle all other expenses for the coming year while I finish up school and work towards getting a job. It’ll mean a lot to me.
