Aviators, we all start with zero hours and wonder what it takes to be a pilot. In Kansas City, ATD has provided the support, instruction and equipment to achieve our dreams.
On the morning of April 20th, a majority of ATD's fleet was severely damaged and destroyed by a large storm. ATD is Kansas City's oldest and most respected flight school, providing the support, instruction and equipment to help countless people achieve their childhood dreams of becoming pilots.
ATD has provided many of us past instructors, students, and renters with countless lifelong friendships, mentors, and peers who all share the same common interest in aviation. Many of those friends still are employed by ATD and have lost significant means of income to provide for their families.
These aircraft brought about countless hours of instruction and supported the objectives of those who wish to take the skies. More than that ATD means camaraderie,
experience and a network to build on regardless of our aviation aspirations. Help us keep ATD alive for us and our future aviators.
