Save Baby Sur's Life !

UPDATE (3/2):

From father, Rafa: "Sur's health as of March 1 is stable, Sur is still hospitalized in the intensive care unit but has already managed to get off the artificial respirator. We know that he has a small failure in the synchronization of the high valves of his little heart and we are waiting for the days to find out the treatment and how it develops."

UPDATE (2/23):

Thanks to your extraordinary generosity, baby Sur and his parents were able to board an air ambulance to a hospital in Mexico City (within 24 hours of starting this fundraiser). Sur is stable, and his parents were able to sleep a little bit for the first time since the birth. From initial medical exams, we have been informed that Sur's issues are centered around his lungs. The lungs are still growing to their proper form and size. We are still awaiting specific information on what the costs of the medical bills will be. Thank you thank you thank you for your support! ORIGINAL SITUATION

A young couple in Puerto Escondido, Mexico needs your help to save their baby’s life. Sur was born 2 weeks prematurely and is currently on life support. The local hospital does not have the resources to save their child. The air ambulance to the hospital in Mexico City + hospital care upon arrival is anticipated to cost tens of thousands of dollars. If you can spare even $1 to save Rafa and Diana’s baby boy, we would be eternally grateful. Bless you!

Una pareja jóven de Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca necesita tu ayuda para salvar la vida de su hijo recién nacido. Sur nació con dos semanas de anticipación y actualmente está en incubadora y conectado a un tanque oxígeno para poder respirar. El hospital en el que se encuentra no cuenta con equipo adecuado para darle la atención que necesita. Debe ser trasladado de manera urgente en una ambulancia aérea a la Ciudad de México y esto cuesta $380,000.00 MXN.
