Save Barbara’s Soul Food on Wheels

Barbara Soul Food on Wheels needs the community she has served for 7 years to provide help. Barbara has been a staple in this community for over 7 years providing excellent food, service, and catering to Orange and the larger community. Her business was on the road to success prior to the onsite of COVID-19. COVID-19 has put her dream of being a business owner in our community in jeopardy. Because of the pandemic, she has had 100% of her catering jobs cancel for 2020. The catering portion of her business provides her family with their income and ability to continue to serve our community. The pandemic has also affected her food truck business, as sales have dropped 80% since March 2020. Barbara and her husband Tony have always supported our community by providing an event each year that served in 2019, 900 free hot meals to anyone who wanted one. They also have hosted each year a customer appreciation event, which provided in 2019, 150 free meals. Now it is time for Orange and the surrounding community to come together and help save our most beloved eating establishment. This go fund is to support the continued function of Barbara’s Soul Food on Wheels establishment. We are seeking  5,000 dollars to help her make it through these hard times.
I, Sonya Lawrence, live here in the town of orange and frequent Barbara’s business, during our many conversations she shared her distress and that is what prompted me to establish this go fund for her. Every penny raised will be turned over to her to assist with the mounding expenses with trying to keep her business afloat.
