Save Belmar Park!

This GoFundMe was created to help us protect the integrity of Belmar Park in Lakewood, CO at the historic property site of 777 S. Yarrow St. Currently, this pristine park, filled with high-quality natural habitat for plants and animals is being threatened by the developer, KAIROI who wants to build a 6-story high-rise and 5-story parking garage and remove 69 mature trees, many of which have animal’s nests in them from the property.

Our nonprofit’s goal is to help safeguard the diverse flora and fauna that call this area home, while striving to maintain a sustainable and harmonious environment.

Our GoFundMe campaign is a call to action, inviting friends, neighbors, and family to join forces in turning our vision into reality through legal avenues. Our hope is that the concrete steps of retaining legal council (amongst dozens of other parallel strategies) will lead us toward our goal of preserving Belmar Park.
