Bianca is a 6-year-old Anatolian Shepherd. She is a gentle giant who loves all animals and people, especially kids.

Bianca has suffered a hind leg injury, but it is unknown how or why it began. We are awaiting more imaging and information from her vet, but there is a possibility of a $7,000 surgery to repair her leg or the horrible possibility of her having to lose her leg. Being from a large breed, it would put extreme strain on her other legs. Bianca weighs 110 lbs and is at a low/healthy weight for her breed.

Bianca was adopted with her sister Gussie as puppies. Her family is on a lower/fixed income, and it would be impossible for them to put together this money without the necessary resources.

Bianca has NOT saved kittens from a burning building. She has NOT given mouth-to-mouth to a stranger on the beach. She has NOT given up her New York Marathon win to help carry another runner across the finish line. But with this surgery, she COULD. There’s no telling what this sweet, mildly dumb angel will do if she’s able to thrive. Just love her family and all others forever? And possibly so much more.
