Save Bleu who has been seized by the police
Donation protected
Hi my name is Hannah and I’m part of Lola’s legacy dog rescue. I’m raising funds for our dog who has been SEIZED by Wiltshire police‼️‼️
This is a plea for extremely urgent help and it comes straight from the heart because our boys life depends on us.
We cannot achieve this without your help!
As some of you will have seen from our social media platforms, we have found ourselves in a horrendous situation.
A situation that could happen to any rescue at any time but where we simply CANNOT fail because failing will mean our beautiful young boy will lose his precious life before it has even really begun.
Sadly as a result of an alleged incident while in foster, he has been seized by Wiltshire Police and is being held now as a suspected prohibited breed ie Pitbull type.
We know both his parents and had checked his microchip details and we know he is not a Pitbull, however due to the way this ludicrous legislation works, that is not relevant. All that matters is whether he looks a certain way and meets a set of specific measurements and ratios.
As a rescue who wants to save the lives of dogs, it would be entirely wrong for us to do what the Police are asking ( which is to sign him over for destruction) and so we MUST fight for him. He needs us now more than ever.
Will you help by standing with us and fighting for him? Please?
Unfortunately, as a rescue with virtually no free funds and as a small team, we desperately need your help, please.
We need you in our corner to support and help us raise the funds required to ensure we have the very best in legal representation and to ensure we can arrange a professional independent type expert as soon as possible.
Can we depend on your support?
We need his story shared far and wide as we need funds in place urgently.
Donations would be gratefully received, no matter how small, every penny or pound counts.
At just 1 year old, his life cannot be over
Ideally, we would be looking to raise the first hurdle of £1,000 within the next week and by then we should have a clearer picture of how much we will need beyond that stage...
We do know that the assessment has been quoted in the region of £1000/£1200.
Solicitor costs will be confirmed ASAP.
We are so sorry to ask for your help, because we know that everyone is struggling, perhaps even more so at this time of year than any other, but we just can't walk away and see another precious life lost to this Breed Specific Legislation.
If you have any questions, we will do our best to address them however please understand that as with any ongoing legal case, there may be some information that we cannot disclose at the moment.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read, share, donate and/or tag.
‼️‼️‼️We are also appealing for anyone who has ever had charge or responsibility for him, at any point in his life or even anyone who is currently caring for him while he is in the kennels. It is perfectly lawful for a kennel worker, kennel owner, dog warden, Vet worker, kennel volunteers etc to step forward as a keeper. It has even been the case that a serving Police Officer stepped forward to save a typed dog held in kennels and so, anyone who knew or knows our gorgeous boy, pls get in touch in complete confidence to discuss further with our legal team. "‼️‼️‼️
From all of the team here at Lola's Legacy Dog Rescue, we are so grateful for your support.
