Save Brenda's Breaking Heart

My name is Brenda Brock, and I moved with my wife to Costa Rica to live a healthy, happy life. A couple of months ago, we were taking our daily walks, and I noticed I'd feel more and more winded, my walking distance diminishing rapidly. After multiple medical tests and inconclusive results, I was eventually diagnosed with three blocked coronary arteries in Hospital Clinica Biblica in San Jose. After urgently searching for options for emergency procedures, the most affordable is located in Cartagena, Colombia, South America, with an all-expense cost of $65,000. This includes but may not be limited to air travel expenses, fees from the doctor and hospital, transportation to and from the hospital, a month of housing for recovery, medication and treatments, and physical rehab post-procedure.

Here's my complex financial situation: I am too young for Medicare, enrollment benefits from 2023 healthcare coverage will not cover my time-sensitive procedure soon enough, and I'm retired, living on drawn social security.
