Save Bunz: Ashley's Beloved Bunny Needs You

Hello there my name is Ashley & I am trying to raise funds for my bunny named, Bunz! She is a bundle of joy & love in our household. I am asking for help as I don't see any other way to get her the care she needs and deserves! Her warm emotional support has embraced us through so much.

She has been very healthy up until recently. She started "Nesting" with no chance of being pregnant. I took her to her Veterinarian. He gave her a depo shot stating she may have a uterine cyst that can cause her hormones to go bonkers. (Later in this journey an ultrasound determined 2 masses)

A few days later she started having difficulty breathing & heavy, rapid heart palpations. She was in pain. I was advised to take her to the exotic pet hospital an hour away. There she was admitted. X-Ray & ultrasound showed an enlarged heart along with possible LLT (liver lobe torsion) She was released a day later and treated for LLT with 4 different meds every 6hrs. She seemed to be slightly improving... Still taking the diuretic med for unknown heart enlargement. Meanwhile she has lost almost 3 whole pounds. Thats alot for a 11 lb bunny!I

We just took her in for her recheck, and while her liver issue seems to be improving her left atrium is still significantly enlarged with distended veins. Her belly was shaved for this more thorough exam of her heart & liver, where 2 masses were also found in her uterine area... This can be fixed by getting her spayed. However she can Not have that surgery with her unknown heart condition.

If you have read this far, you now know a little of what has been going on. My credit card is now maxed and she still needs to go she a cardiologist for an echocardiogram to diagnose the problem. Not only is this specialist a 2.5hour drive... I also need a $530 deposit just to get her scheduled as he is the only specialist on this side of the state that does EKGS on bunnies.

Once he can determine what is going on, (Suspected heart disease or a blockage?) I pray that it can be managed with medications. Then hopefully she can get cleared eventually to have surgery to get those masses out with spaying surgery. She is young and still has a good life to live. She is very important to our family. She has given us so much over the last few years and never failed us, I cant fail her. I am asking for help to save her life.
