Save Carla's Van

Our beloved friend, and partner in photography, Carla Rodriguez (@Blkkhand) suffered a series of disasters on her most recent work trip to Teslacon in Wisconsin.

On Thursday night, her work van broke down 90 miles from the venue, and we had to go meet her and load her gear in the VPS van and have her towed to the event site. After 4 days of unsuccessful repairs, the van was able to get on the road but sputtered out after only a few miles. Carla had to rent a Uhaul to carry her gear and tow her van, but the Wisconsin winter was brutal, and she hit a patch of black ice and swiped the guard rail. She is stuck in Wisconsin with two unusable vehicles, all of her photography equipment, and an insurmountable pile of bills.

Her van is her livelihood and will need replaced. We're asking all of you who know and love Carla to help her out, even if its just a small amount, to get her through this massive setback.
