Save Chester, John's Cherished Cat

Hi, my name is John, and I'm asking for your help today in saving my best friend Chester, the adorable bunny-faced cat you see in the pic above. Chester will be turning 10 this year along with his brother Roscoe and sister Marnie (they're the ones you see bits of behind him) and has always been a very healthy, if skinny, cat with a huge appetite. He's a very (deliberately) funny guy, a smart cat, and the nicest cat you could ever meet.

My late cat Charlie adopted him and his siblings when they were just ferals who were maybe a few months old, if that, and taught them to be possibly the nicest and most well-behaved cats in the world. They saw me through the pandemic and much else, including Charlie's sudden death and sickness 6 years ago, when he was just turning 6.

In the last two days, Chester's usual cheerfulness has faded considerably, and he looks scared. Some kind of pink jelly, and even some blood, are coming from his butt, and today he doesn't want to eat. I am terrified he's really sick and need to get him to a vet very soon.

The amount here represents an emergency vet visit plus the services he'll require. Most likely it will be more than this, I fear, but this is the best I can guess.

Please help. Don't let me lose him. I love him very much and would gladly trade my life for his if it were possible. I will go insane if he dies.
