Save Chin's Kitchen Vintage Neon
Donation protected
Chin's Kitchen, a classic Portland Chinese diner since 1949, reopened in July 2017. New owners are now serving authentic and delicious northeastern chinese cuisine!
But Chin's also boasts one of the last artful and lovely animated neon signs left in town. With the City so quickly developing, we aim to resurrect this little piece of our diverse and artistic history.
Neon Gods PDX caretakes a number of Portland's historic neon signs, including The Alibi Tiki Lounge and the Aladdin and Laurelhurst theatre marquees. With Chin's new owners at the helm, we have an opportunity to restore, repaint, and reanimate the sign so that Mr Chin can eat again!
**Bonus! Donors of $100 or more will receive two tickets to Portland's historic Hollywood Theatre as a token of our appreciation**
