Save Chippy: URGENT Surgery Needed

About 3 weeks ago I got a call at 11pm that someone had 6 one week old kittens without a mom.

So at nearly midnight I set out and drove an hour out to the middle of nowhere in pitch black. The lady who found them met me at the road and I've been caring for them ever since.

The mom had apparently been killed by a dog sometime prior (likely around a day or two). One of the kittens was bitten by the dog, which broke her leg. However she is recovering wonderfully!

We began to weigh them daily after each feeding (every 3 hours) to track their progress and ensure they were at a healthy weight. When we got them, each one weighed only around 90-100 grams.

3 weeks later, all of them are approaching to be on track with each weighing 400+grams. One even weighs 500 as of this morning!

However, Our little black and white kitten, Chippy, started having issues recently though, whenever we tried to stimulate her to potty, she would push and push but she couldn't seem to have a bowel movement.

After taking her to the vet it turns out she has some type of fistula. Meaning the two "tubes" where urine and feces come out connect at some point. We don't know exactly what kind yet as it would likely require exploratory surgery.

As of today (August 21st) she is 4 weeks old. We have to use an enema every day (sometimes more than once) to help her potty and it's torture for her.

The surgery to save her life is estimated around 1500-2000$, but could be more. But I figured 1200$ was a good starting place and would help immensely.

I don't know how much time we have left to get this issue fixed, it's honestly tearing me apart that she is hurting so much. Any help counts. Thank you to everyone who donates. Your kindness means the world to me.

Any money raised will go directly to paying for the surgery and nothing else. If extra funds are raised they'll be used to purchase kitten milk replacement (KMR) or kitten food depending on how old she is when the fundraiser ends.
