Save Chispa's Corazon (heart)

Hi my name is Yvonne and I'm the owner of this adorable Tricolor Mini Chihuahua named Chispa, which means a little spark. Last week he started going into what I call episodes of his body trembling, not responding to his name other than with his eyes, staring off into to the distance and his body language seem to be saying, please do not touch or move me my whole body hurts. He will then slowly sit down and drop on his side till it passed and he's back to himself. His vet thinks it could be seizures or something neurological. However, in order to get a diagnosis we need to have a MRI done and for this he needs to be put under anesthesia. Chispa has a profund heart murmur with a 5 rating and cannot be sedated with out having a heart exam done first. Heart murmurs are rated between 1-6 . With a number one heart murmur ones needs a stethoscope in order to hear it. Clearly his can be heard without one.

The episodes are scary, they last anywhere from 20 min to an hour beforew he's back to being himself. We are asking for help as we seek to get these test done in hopes of obtaining a diagnosis so that he can be placed on the proper medication that will allow him to keep his quality and no longer be experiencing these episodes .
