Save Christmas for the Georgetown Kids After IP Mill Closure

Georgetown SC International Paper Mill is closing permanently on Dec. 1st. They were given 30 days' notice on October 31st. This town is going to die. First the Steel Mill & now the Paper Mill.

There is going to be immense financial need in this town, especially amongst the young families that don't have a decade or more behind them. We are attempting to raise funds to help with Christmas for the kids and hopefully be able to assist with bills if or when the need arises after the first of the year. Initially, these funds will be spent on the kids, and any leftover will be put in a fund to help as needed from there. Please consider donating as these children shouldn't have to suffer because the "Shareholders" don't find keeping the mill open to be in their best interests.
