Save Cider: Support His Life-Saving Surgery

It is all hands on deck for our newest rescue as of this Sunday Mr. Cider, the absolute apple in our eyes needs all the help we can get him. We had received a call about a cat that may have been possibly hit by a car and left to die in the streets and just like that The Pretty Paw was off to the rescue. Cider is currently on his way to the emergency hospital now to be stabilized enough for the emergency surgical removal of his back left leg. Unfortunately he was found too late and the state of his hind leg is beyond saving, the remaining tissue that hasn't been eaten by the maggots festering in the wound is completely dead and slowly decaying. It is believed that Cider was on the streets trying to survive for quite some time with this wound in the most excruciating pain which shows just how much fight this beautiful boy has in him. He is also extremely malnourished and dehydrated from trying to just survive weighing in at only 2 pounds as an estimated 5 year old cat. Our team has been working around the clock providing pain medicine, antibiotics, and fluids but our poor Cider requires much more.
